Privacy Policy

CyberOpSource.tools is built to be safe to use with sensitive data. Most tools process your input locally in your browser.
CLIENT-SIDE PROCESSING FIRST

What we collect

We do not ask you to upload content to use our tools. We don’t run analytics pixels, ad trackers, or behavior profiling on purpose.

What we don’t want

We don’t want your logs, tokens, emails, screenshots, or documents. The site is designed so your content can stay on your machine.

1) Local-first processing (how the tools work)

Many tools on this site run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When a tool is “client-side,” your input is processed on your device and is not sent to our servers.

Important: Your browser and device environment still matter. If your device is compromised, or if you paste sensitive data into other sites/tools, we can’t protect you from that.

2) Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (for example: request time, pages requested, and IP address). These logs are typically used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

3) Cookies

We aim to keep cookies minimal. If cookies are used, they are primarily for basic site functionality and security.

4) Third-party content and requests

Some assets may be served from trusted third-party domains used by our hosting environment (for example, images or security-related endpoints). Your browser may connect to those domains when loading the site.

5) Your responsibility (safe sharing)

Even with local-first tools, you should only share what you must. If you use tools like the PII Scrubber, review the output before sending it to anyone.

6) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as tools evolve. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date below.
